Mark & I ventured up to NYC this weekend to go to a Yankee's game. Mark wanted to see Yankee Stadium before they tear it down. (Next year is there last season in the old stadium). We bought tickets back in January for this game. We really didn't care who we saw play, and this was one of the only games we could find tickets for. 
We left around 6AM and headed to Joe's house...He drove us into Manhattan, where we parked & took the subway in. Had a drink at a bar across the street from the stadium 1st, and then headed inside. We had bleacher seats out in left field. It was soooooooooooo hot. We were just dripping sweat while we were sitting there. We made it through 3 innings, and decided we've had enough -- time to head across the street to the bars for the rest of the game.
We did get to see baseball history being made. We saw Alex Rodriquez hit his 500th home run, so that was very exciting. Even though we left after 3 innings, at least we have a good story to go with it! 
Had a couple of drinks at the bar, and then headed back into Manhattan for some Chinese for dinner. Then headed out to the bar right down the road from Joe's for a couple of drinks. It was entertaining watching the local high school's 25th reunion people.
It was a good trip. We really weren't all that impressed with Yankees Stadium. I don't know, there wasn't anything great about it.
