Weekend in Review

Had a pretty good weekend. Friday got home from work and was unmotivated to do anything. Wasn't really in the mood to fix dinner either - so we ended up going to Facca Luna. Had some good pizza there - and came home and watched some TV before falling asleep on the couch.

Saturday morning we got up and went to the gym. From the gym we went up to Ryan's to watch the 'Cuse vs. West Virginia basketball game. We hadn't seen them in about a year. I'd say it was close to exactly a year ago when we went up there for the 'Cuse vs. Louisville game and got to meet Andrew for the 1st time. It was good catching up with them. After the game - we won by 1! we stopped at Babies 'R Us in Silver Spring to look at the gliders again. They were having a sale - 15% off so we figured we should take advantage of that. We found one that we both liked - and they had in stock so we bought it! Saturday night we met up with Nicole and Karl down at Overwood for dinner. It was Alexandria restaurant week so we ordered off of that menu. Think everyone really enjoyed their dinner, some good beers, and some good food! It was nice hanging out the 4 of us! Got home from dinner and watched some of the football game, before calling it a night.

Sunday morning got up and went to Church. We ended up going to the gym right away because we were expecting someone to call us at noon to schedule a pick up for our recliner. (Don't know if I've mentioned this prior - but we ordered a couch that's coming in on the 13th of February - and we've decided to put our recliner up on Craig's list to see if we'd have any interest. I put it up for $100 - and actually had a couple of people respond to it.) Anyways, we never did hear from the guy. Mark ended up putting together the Glider when we got home, and then we took care of the floors. I made my chili for dinner - which turned out to be very good! The rest of the Sunday was the usual - taking care of laundry...making my usual Sunday phone calls...talked with Rob for awhile - getting advice about our short term disability plan. I printed out pictures and wrote up a thank-you for Grandma & Aunt Mary Beth. The had sent us a very comfortable blanket from Brookstone. Apparently they saw it and fell in love with it, and sent one to myself and to Cindy. It is pretty comfy!
