Thursday we hit the road around 6:30 and made our way up to Syracuse. We parked at the round hotel and then walked up to M-Street to stop at Manny's, and Varsity for a slice of pizza. We then went back to the hotel to meet up with Mom & Dad! They came up to take care of Jim while we went to the game. Once we checked in, the 5 of us went to Faegan's for lunch/dinner, went to the bookstore, and then the quad so Jim could run around for awhile. Mom & Dad then took him back to the hotel, and we went to the game. We ended up winning, but in the 3rd quarter we were down by 15 or so, and was wondering why we drove 6 hours to watch a bad game...It took OT, but it was well worth the trip!
Friday morning we got up and got ready and then hit the road. The 5 of us stopped at the first rest area to get breakfast. We were going to go to Bruegger's, but we weren't sure if we'd find parking on M-Street or not. We got to Mark's parents right at 11:00. Friday afternoon was pretty boring for me. Mark & his dad went golfing, and then Mark's mom decided she wanted to take Jim for a walk around the neighborhood, so that left me sitting there with nothing to do.
Saturday we hung out in the morning, and then we went to Hidden Valley Animal adventure. We took a 'safari' ride through the park - getting to see a bunch of animals and feeding them. I think Jim enjoyed it - he was pointing at all the animals. There was also a little petting area which Jim liked looking at the goats that they had.
We made our way back home on Sunday. It was nice to have Monday off and take care of errands and jobs around the house. We had two people come over to take a look at our bathrooms so they could give us an estimate. It's expensive!
