All in all, we had a very good weekend.
Let's see, it all started off Friday morning. We had a little get together for our guys @ the Hampton Inn. We tried finding a place to go, but nothing in the area opens before 11:30...and we were looking for something around 9:00. We hung out there for awhile, and then headed on up to the main office for the company Christmas party. Had a good time there...And as usual, it was followed by the after party @ Remington's this year. Apparently the California Inn was closed. Mark drove up for the after party, and Ryan C. & a couple of his friends met up with us as well. It was a different crowd this year, nothing nearly as crazy as the past couple years.
Saturday....Not a whole lot on Saturday. Helped rake some leaves...Got a hair cut....Went to the gym...Mark & I went to dinner @ Bilbo Baggins. We were debating on going up to Sean's, he was having a holiday party. But the weather/roads was suppossed to be crappy -- rain turning to ice. And we decided against the idea of driving an hour up to Silver Spring, and risk having to drive home in crappy weather.
Sunday...Got up, went to Church...Ran to Michale's...and then we went to the gym. Go us, we've been very motivated lately. Cleaned the floors...went to the grocery store...I baked some lemon bread and some pizelles, which didn't turn out all that great...Worked on Mark's stocking some...and we watched some Sopranos.
That was my weekend. Only 5 more days of work this week until my 11 day vacation!!!!
So like I wanted to say last week, until I was put in a rotten mood b/c of work...we booked our flights to Rome. We'll be going in March, and I'm super excited about it! We'll be spending a week there. Originally wanted to fly into Venice and out of Rome, but we couldn't find a flight we liked, for the price we wanted...We found a flight that would have been perfect...said it was $700 something, but when I went to click on it it said due to some changes in scheduling it's now $1700 -- no thank you. It'll work out good, we have a direct flight from Dulles to Rome both ways. Will be nice not to have to stress about connecting flights.
