Ca & Jason' Wedding
This weekend we took off for Boston for Erica & Jason's wedding. Stopped after work and picked up our rental car. Waited for Mark to get home, got packed up and we hit the road. We hit no traffic at all, so that was nice. Think we made it up to Baltimore in under an hour. Ended up driving for just under 3 hours and stopped somewhere in New Jersey off the turnpike and found a hotel to crash at.
Saturday we got up and hit the road again. Took us 5 hours to make it up to Boston to the hotel. The drive up wasn't that bad at all. We hit a little bit of traffic in NYC, but nothing unbearable. We met up with Kristin & Ike, grabbed a snack & a beer at the bar...and before you knew it, it was time to get ready for the wedding. They had a shuttle bus that took us to the Golf Course where everything was - so that was nice, didn't have to worry about driving there. The room they had the ceremony had a great view! A lot of glass windows, overlooking downtown Boston. The reception was nice - sat at a table with all the SU people - Greg was there (without Sarah), Laura, Megan, and then one of Mark's fraternity brothers & his wife.
Sunday morning we were up bright and early. Decided to go downstairs and grab breakfast, since they gave us coupon vouchers for that. Said good-bye to Ike & Kristin, and then we were off. Again the drive down wasn't bad at all. It was long, but it could've been a lot worse. We made it home in about 7.5 hours, and didn't hit any traffic at all. It was a lot of driving this weekend, for a short amount of time being in Boston, but it was good times!!
