We dropped off our bags, and went into the Square for some lunch! The menus in Prague were very easy...In about 5 different languages, and the 1st restaurant we went to had pictures of all their entrees! Had a good lunch, with good beer, and good people watching. We then wandered around for a bit, checking out Charles Bridge...And then went into the Torture Museum for a bit...Then headed back to Old Town Square for a drink, followed by more food & more drink.
After the tour we headed to a Budvar Restaurant for a drink (or two) and a snack. Our waitresses seemed to be very pissy at something, but the food & beer was very good. Went back to the hotel for a bit, and then headed out to Old Town & went to an Irish Bar for a delicious Burger & once again, some more beer. We were all pretty exhausted from our 6 hour tour of Prague, we called it a night at that point.
Friday morning we took a bust tour to Nymphenburg Castle. Had a pretty bad tour guide. She talked so slow & monotone, I was put to sleep on the ride up to the castle. The only good thing about the castle was the view of it. Everything else kinda stunk about it.
After getting back from that, we wandered over to New Town to Cafe Amsterdam (the Heineken Bar in Prague) got some food & drinks there...Then we headed to an Irish Bar - claimed to be the largest Irish Bar in Prague. And then we were up for one last drink over by our hotel. And we called it a night, and called it one great trip!.JPG)
Saturday morning Mark & I got up early to catch our cab to the airport. And once again, we had no troubles with flying!! We had a pretty long layover in Paris, but it was much better than being rushed through everything. While we were in line @ Prague, we met a couple who was from Bethesda -- small world.
All in all, it was a great trip!!! Lots of good beer drank, good food ate, and good people to travel with!!!
